  • Manage cash flow effectively by monitoring balances, arranging financing as needed, overseeing accounts payable/receivable functions, and ensuring efficient internal cash transfers.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by setting clear objectives for the finance team, conducting regular performance reviews, mentoring staff members, and supporting succession planning.
  • Communicate complex financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders while building trust through transparent dialogue with internal teams and external partners.

What you bring:

Your commitment to upholding ethical standards ensures compliance remains front-of-mind even as you pursue ambitious growth targets.

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in accounting or business administration (or equivalent experience), demonstrating a solid foundation in core financial principles.
  • Bring at least 15 years of progressively senior experience within major companies or large divisions—ideally partnering closely with executive teams on strategic matters.
  • Exhibit outstanding written and oral communication skills that enable you to translate complex financial information into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

  • Showcase proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels—internally among colleagues as well as externally with partners or clients—fostering trust through empathy and dependability.
  • Display exceptional organisational skills with advanced planning abilities; adept at prioritising tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Possess sound judgement when navigating ambiguity or making decisions during periods of change; comfortable leading teams through transitions with sensitivity.
  • Have deep commercial acumen including understanding cost-to-serve models, operational efficiency levers, negotiation tactics, quality systems/processes—and using these insights to support business decisions.
