What you'll do:

• Manage the complete spectrum of accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules to ensure timely and reliable financial information is available for decision-making purposes.
• Perform thorough account reconciliations on a regular basis to maintain the integrity of financial records and promptly resolve any discrepancies identified during the process.
• Process journal entries efficiently while maintaining proper documentation for all accounting transactions in accordance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting exercises, monitor cash flow positions, and contribute to financial analysis efforts that support strategic planning initiatives across the business.
• Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth audits, tax filings, and compliance with statutory obligations.
• Ensure strict adherence to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), statutory requirements, and internal controls by implementing best practices throughout all accounting functions.
• Support year-end audit activities by preparing necessary documentation, responding to auditor queries, and assisting with tax filing processes as required by local regulations.
