You will work closely with senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations that directly influence key decisions. The organisation is known for its stability, agility, and supportive environment, where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will have a visible impact. With a competitive salary package ranging from RM120,000 to RM144,000 per annum, this position is ideal for an experienced finance professional seeking both challenge and reward within a collaborative SME setting.

* Benefit from a stable yet agile working environment that values long-serving staff while encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and autonomy.
* Be part of a close-knit team where your financial expertise will drive real business outcomes and support continued growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

What you'll do:

As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing fund management activities, developing forward-looking budgets, analysing performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders on strategic projects—ranging from pricing reviews to capital allocation—while also managing external relationships with banks and other stakeholders. Your ability to implement effective internal controls will help foster a culture of accountability across the business. By leveraging your expertise in treasury functions and financial planning, you will contribute directly to the company’s ongoing success in delivering high-quality packaging solutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

* Oversee fund management and cash flow planning to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations as well as future investments, maintaining a healthy balance between risk and opportunity.
* Develop comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets, and capital expenditure plans that align with organisational objectives and support sustainable growth.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance by preparing detailed reports and offering actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
* Ensure efficient allocation of capital resources across various business areas to maximise return on investment while supporting innovation and expansion initiatives.
* Manage relationships with banking partners, negotiate credit facilities, and oversee funding arrangements to secure favourable terms for the company.
* Supervise accounting processes to guarantee accuracy in financial reporting while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and regulatory standards.
* Support management in making strategic decisions related to pricing strategies, cost optimisation efforts, and profitability analysis by providing clear financial guidance.
* Implement robust internal controls throughout the organisation to maintain financial discipline and safeguard assets against potential risks or inefficiencies.
* (Advantage) Provide valuable input on commercial and legal matters such as contract negotiations, trade terms, and risk mitigation strategies when required.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings extensive experience in managing diverse aspects of corporate finance within dynamic environments. Your background should include hands-on exposure to treasury functions as well as deep familiarity with Malaysian regulatory frameworks. You are adept at interpreting complex data sets into actionable insights that inform business strategy. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build trust-based relationships both internally—with colleagues at all levels—and externally with banking partners or auditors. A commitment to ethical conduct is paramount; you consistently demonstrate reliability even when working independently. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy in reporting while your broader perspective supports holistic decision-making across multiple business units.

* A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field is essential; holding a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA would be highly regarded.
* At least 8–10 years of proven experience in financial management roles encompassing treasury operations or corporate finance within reputable organisations.
* Demonstrated understanding of cash flow management principles, capital efficiency techniques, and best practices in financial risk mitigation.
* Familiarity with Malaysian financial regulations including taxation policies and commercial law relevant to operating within the local market context.
* Exceptional analytical skills combined with strong problem-solving abilities that enable you to interpret complex data sets and provide meaningful recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills that allow you to present findings clearly to both finance professionals and non-finance stakeholders alike.
* High levels of integrity coupled with the ability to work dependably under minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
