What you'll do:

As an Assistant Finance Manager based in Petaling Jaya, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Finance with day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will span across managing accounting activities such as accounts receivable/payable, general ledger maintenance, intercompany reconciliations, and treasury functions. You will oversee closing processes at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is paramount. • Prepare detailed management reports, conduct variance analysis, and provide insightful financial information to internal stakeholders for informed decision-making.

• Assist with tax computations, submissions, and maintain effective liaison with tax agents as well as group tax teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and group policies by monitoring processes and implementing necessary improvements.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises by collaborating with various departments to align business objectives.
• Participate in finance transformation projects including SAP system implementation, dealer portal development, and rollout of new financial policies.
