About the Company

Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturing organisation with a strong presence across Asia Pacific. As part of its continued regional growth, the company is looking to appoint an experienced Regional Finance Director to partner closely with senior leadership in driving financial performance, commercial decision-making, and strategic business initiatives.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Regional CFO, you will lead the regional finance function across multiple countries, providing strategic financial leadership while ensuring robust financial governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

You will serve as a key business partner to the regional leadership team, supporting business expansion, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function across multiple countries within the region.
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Provide commercial and financial insights to support key business decisions and investment opportunities.
• Partner with regional business leaders to improve profitability and operational performance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Ensure effective internal controls, corporate governance, tax compliance, and risk management.
• Lead cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and capital expenditure planning.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, automation, and digitalisation.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing finance teams across the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including regional leadership within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience partnering senior business leaders.
• Hands-on experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business partnering, treasury, taxation, and governance.
• Experience managing multi-country finance operations within an MNC environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, costing, inventory management, and supply chain finance.
• Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms would be advantageous.
