CFO

A public listed organisation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their executive team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the business.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all finance-related functions including accounting operations, treasury management, taxation compliance, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency across the organisation.
• Develop comprehensive financial strategies that align with overall business objectives while optimising resource allocation and cost management.
• Manage budgeting processes, forecasting cycles, financial planning activities, and performance analysis to support informed decision-making at every level.
• Monitor cash flow positions, working capital requirements, liquidity status, and capital expenditure plans to maintain organisational stability and flexibility.
• Ensure full compliance with Bursa Malaysia Market Listing Requirements and other regulators.

What you bring:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA)
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance roles with significant exposure to listed company reporting requirements under Bursa Malaysia regulations is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance including treasury operations, mergers & acquisitions activity oversight as well as investor relations responsibilities is highly valued.
• Proven track record managing finance teams effectively while interacting regularly with senior management and Board of Directors
