Chief Financial Officer (Public Listed Co.)

An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Finance Leader to join a leading organisation headquartered in Kuala Lumpur. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be at the heart of the organisation’s financial operations, working closely with the senior leadership team to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

What you'll do:

• Lead the company’s overall finance function, financial reporting, investments, treasury and strategic financial planning
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow, accounting operations, internal controls, and financial reporting to ensure effective financial management and operational efficiency.
• Implement financial processes, controls, and best practices to support strong governance, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable workflows.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, contractual obligations, and reporting requirements
• Partner with senior leadership across the company on budget planning and business decisions.
• Drive business performance and risk management through financial analysis, cost optimisation, capital management, fundraising initiatives, performance monitoring, and leadership of the finance team and systems.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant field
• 15 to 20 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in a public listed company or investment holding company is highly desirable
• Strong technical skills on financial management and investment analysis
• A hands-on approach to work as the organisation practise a flat structure and is in its growth stage
