What you'll do:
As Chief Financial Officer, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial future of a rapidly expanding business.
- Develop and lead comprehensive financial strategies that align with both short-term objectives and long-term business goals across the region
- Translate overarching business strategies into actionable financial plans, targets, and KPIs for each region
- Provide advanced financial modelling and scenario planning for new business openings
- Advise the CEO and Board on the financial implications of strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, or expansion activities.
- Lead the annual budgeting process alongside rolling forecasts for all business units
- Establish clear club-level P&L ownership and accountability frameworks to drive performance at every outlet.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity is maintained across all clubs while managing working capital including receivables, payables, inventory, credit policies, payment cycles, and cash conversion.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders, investors; manage financing arrangements including overdrafts, loans, credit facilities; implement real-time performance dashboards for financial tracking.
- Identify variances and risks early through monitoring key metrics
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, lead external audits and statutory filings while liaising with auditors, tax agents, legal advisors.
What you bring:
To excel as Chief Financial Officer in this dynamic environment you will bring extensive experience from senior finance roles within multi-outlet sectors such as retail hospitality fitness or F&B businesses.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) is highly preferred for candidates applying for this role.
- Proven track record in managing cash-intensive operations demonstrates suitability for this role.
- Expertise in financial strategy development coupled with cost management skills ensures effective budgeting forecasting reporting under IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities are necessary for stakeholder engagement at board level as well as mentoring finance teams.
- Experience leading external audits tax audits statutory filings compliance processes strengthens organisational integrity.
