What you'll do:

• Conduct detailed feasibility studies, market research, and strategic assessments to identify new business opportunities as well as potential risks or threats impacting the organisation’s operations.
• Analyse competitor strategies, industry developments, macroeconomic conditions, regulatory changes, and other external factors that could influence business performance or strategic direction.
• Perform thorough business and financial analysis including forecasting, scenario planning, valuation exercises, return on investment assessments, and feasibility evaluations for proposed initiatives.
• Develop comprehensive business cases, sophisticated financial models, and clear recommendation papers to support informed management and Board decision-making processes.
• Assist in preparing corporate announcements, circulars, Board papers, management presentations, annual report sections, and materials related to annual general meetings.
• Support the full lifecycle of corporate proposals and strategic exercises by coordinating deal evaluation activities, developing business cases, managing due diligence processes, assessing synergies, engaging stakeholders, and planning implementation steps.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments as well as external advisers and key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of corporate initiatives and critical project milestones.
• Establish robust tracking mechanisms to monitor post-implementation performance of approved strategic initiatives while providing regular evaluation reports.
• Deliver ad hoc strategic, financial, or corporate analysis as required by senior management to support evolving organisational needs.

What you bring:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a closely related discipline; professional accounting or finance qualifications are considered an added advantage.
• Demonstrate at least 5 to 6 years of relevant experience within corporate finance, corporate strategy & advisory or similar fields where analytical rigour is paramount.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in financial modelling techniques including valuation methods, forecasting approaches and commercial feasibility assessments with an emphasis on ROI analysis.
• Possess a deep understanding of corporate exercises such as business case preparation processes, due diligence coordination efforts, Board reporting requirements and stakeholder management best practices.
• Showcase excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English with proven experience preparing clear reports, structured presentations and Board-level materials tailored for diverse audiences.
• Display exceptional problem-solving capabilities combined with commercial acumen and meticulous attention to detail when handling complex assignments or sensitive information.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis tasks as well as PowerPoint for impactful presentations; familiarity with additional financial analysis tools is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate an ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams involving senior management figures as well as external advisers or stakeholders on multifaceted projects.
