What you'll do:

As an Investment Manager with A Real Estate and Property Group in Kuala Lumpur, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the future direction of the company’s real estate portfolio. * Lead comprehensive due diligence processes by coordinating with legal, tax, audit, and technical consultants to uncover risks and ensure all aspects of each transaction are thoroughly vetted.
* Strategise and negotiate deal terms to optimise outcomes for the business while ensuring all transactions remain DPU accretive and within gearing limits.
* Review legal documentation, instruct lawyers on commercial intent during negotiations, and ensure all legal parameters are adhered to throughout the transaction lifecycle.
* Prepare decision-ready board papers for acquisitions, disposals, or venture initiatives; present recommendations clearly to secure necessary board approvals.
* Manage closing processes post-completion to ensure seamless integration or divestment of assets in line with strategic objectives.
* Provide CEO and Board with up-to-date market intelligence to inform decision-making on current trends, risks, and opportunities within the real estate sector.
* Assist the CEO on special projects or ad-hoc strategic initiatives as required, contributing analytical rigour and commercial insight.
