Senior Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is technically strong, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and on time
• Prepare monthly management reports and supporting schedules
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders during audits
• Monitor cash flow and assist in treasury-related matters
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
• Support ad-hoc finance projects and system enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.) is an advantage
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
• Able to speak, read, and write in Mandarin to support business and stakeholders
• Experience in audit or commercial environment preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
