Head of Accounts Payable, APAC * You will lead a regional team responsible for Procure to Pay processes, ensuring accuracy and quality across payments and customer invoicing. * The organisation provides flexible working arrangements and robust training programmes to support your professional growth and work-life balance.

What you'll do:

• Guide the transaction processing team to deliver consistent and high-quality service across all APAC countries, focusing on Procure to Pay processes.
• Collaborate closely with shared services teams to provide comprehensive end-to-end process solutions tailored to each country’s needs.
• Act as the primary escalation point for country-specific issues, providing expert support in resolving major performance challenges.
• Work alongside Business Process Owners and specialists to embed process changes, improvements, and address operational gaps effectively.
• Monitor and report against defined process performance metrics including key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively addressing any shortfalls.
• Promote a culture of compliance and service delivery by instilling required attributes across the team through regular engagement.
• Establish a structured meeting cadence with your team to encourage effective communication, inclusion, and knowledge sharing.
• Motivate your team members by recognising achievements and supporting their development to ensure sustained quality performance.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience/qualification is essential for this role.
• At least 12 years’ experience in Procure to Pay processes with strong knowledge of how these fit within large organisations.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles gained through relevant qualifications and extensive practical experience.
• Experience managing finance teams within a shared service delivery setup demonstrates your ability to nurture collaborative environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of controls in large, complex organisational settings is crucial for risk management.
• Demonstrated success in managing risk controls ensures dependable financial operations.
• Excellent communication skills enable you to build trust with stakeholders and manage teams effectively.
