What you'll do: As a PL/SQL Developer, you will immerse yourself in the full software development lifecycle - coding applications using industry-standard tools, preparing detailed test plans, conducting rigorous unit tests, and ensuring all documentation meets compliance requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you working closely with both technical colleagues and end-users as you guide projects through SIT and UAT phases towards successful sign-off.

• Develop application code using established development tools, aligning with quarterly release schedules to ensure quality and compliance.
• Create comprehensive test plans and data sets, conducting thorough unit testing to ensure robust software performance pre-deployment.
• Document all code changes meticulously to comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring transparency and traceability.
• Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collaborating with users for timely project phase sign-offs.
• Actively participate in application design discussions, offering insights to enhance system architecture and functionality.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues in Oracle Server environments, utilizing analytical skills to resolve challenges and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery, fostering cooperation and shared achievement across departments.

What you bring: To excel as a PL/SQL Developer in this role, you will bring proven experience in database programming within complex Oracle environments alongside practical Unix/Linux scripting abilities. Your background should include hands-on involvement in application coding, test planning, unit testing, troubleshooting deployments, and documenting changes for compliance purposes.

• A minimum of three years’ experience working with PL SQL programming language and Oracle Database systems is essential for this position.
• Hands-on experience scripting in Unix or Linux environments is required; familiarity with additional scripting languages would be advantageous.
• Proven track record working within Oracle Server Environments, particularly with Oracle Database version 21.2.1 or similar enterprise-level platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot deployment issues on Oracle Servers efficiently while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the resolution process.
• Experience developing comprehensive test plans and executing unit testing activities as part of a structured software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Control-M batch processing tool would be beneficial but is not mandatory for consideration.
• Excellent documentation skills ensuring all code changes are clearly recorded in accordance with compliance standards.
