What you'll do: As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both individual solutions and the broader technology landscape for a truly global organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating with international colleagues across multiple disciplines - ranging from software development to cybersecurity - to ensure that all architectural decisions align with strategic business objectives. You will be instrumental in setting integration standards, building technology roadmaps, advancing architecture maturity through skill development initiatives, and supporting major IT projects from conception through execution.

• Collaborate closely with global IT teams and business stakeholders to shape the organisation’s technology ecosystem by defining integration standards and identifying current and future IT capabilities.
• Take ownership of landscape-shaping initiatives by working directly with IT management and contributing to the development of technology roadmaps.
• Advance architecture maturity by leading skill development initiatives within the enterprise architecture community.
• Build deep technical expertise in areas such as data architecture (including enterprise data modelling, master data management, information lifecycle management), SAP technologies (S4 HANA, S4HANA Cloud), cloud applications (AWS, Azure), and infrastructure (networking and hyperscaler platforms).
• Work alongside domain-specific solution architects and cybersecurity professionals to design solutions for projects of significant strategic importance.
• Engage in governance processes by developing technology radars and ensuring adherence to established architectural standards.
• Participate in discussions with IT management, CIOs, and potentially executive board members regarding strategic decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Contribute business know-how across various domains including sales & marketing, finance, logistics, HR, and subscription-based business models.
• Support the delivery of large-scale IT projects by providing architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles.
• Foster knowledge sharing within the team to ensure alignment with organisational goals and promote best practices.

What you bring: To excel as an Enterprise Architect in this environment you will bring extensive experience navigating complex enterprise landscapes while maintaining a clear focus on strategic alignment between technology initiatives and overarching business objectives.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering or a related field is required for this position.
• More than seven years of relevant experience in enterprise or IT architecture roles with demonstrable success aligning landscape strategies with overall business goals is essential.
• Proven track record delivering larger IT projects where architectural guidance was critical to project success is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration within international teams; strong organisational abilities will help manage complex initiatives efficiently.
• Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written - are required for engaging stakeholders at all levels including IT management and executive leadership.
• Experience working with technical elements such as enterprise data modelling, master data management systems, SAP S4 HANA/Cloud platforms or cloud applications like AWS/Azure/BTP is advantageous.
• Business acumen across domains such as sales & marketing, finance operations logistics HR or subscription-based services will support holistic solution design.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF Open CA ITIL CISSP-ISSAP are considered beneficial but not mandatory for this role.
• Fluency in English is required for effective communication across diverse teams.
