What you'll do:
As an Application Support Analyst based in Subang Jaya, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of sophisticated software solutions used by customers across various industries. Your day-to-day activities will involve providing expert technical support through both remote channels and on-site visits according to a flexible roster. You will be responsible for monitoring system health, responding swiftly to incidents, communicating effectively with users at all levels, and collaborating closely with your team to deliver outstanding service. In addition to troubleshooting issues, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas for process improvement, participate in testing new releases, update technical documentation, and help train less experienced colleagues. - Provide comprehensive support to customer sites on a rostered basis, both remotely and at customer premises, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
- Deliver on-call standby support outside of standard hours, including public holidays, to maintain uninterrupted service for clients.
- Monitor and control software and equipment operations, proactively supporting customer needs and maintaining high system availability.
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders to keep everyone informed about issue progress and outcomes in a considerate manner.
- Investigate and resolve support incidents promptly so that customer systems can resume normal operations without unnecessary delay.
- Continuously assess the performance of software and equipment to uphold operational standards, suggesting corrections or improvements when needed.
- Support and maintain both hardware and software systems by performing updates, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist in training other team members and apprentices within your area of expertise to foster knowledge sharing across the team.
- Contribute actively to the online knowledge base by updating documentation with new insights or solutions discovered during daily work.
- Participate in release testing of application changes and patches, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment into production environments.

- Experience applying structured testing methodologies; ISTQB certification is highly regarded but not essential if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally within teams and externally with customers using written reports or verbal updates.
- Knowledge of warehouse management processes or automation technologies would be highly beneficial for this position but is not mandatory.
- A degree in Information Technology or a related discipline provides the educational foundation required for this role.
