Senior Project Manager (PMP/PRINCE2)

Our client is in search of a seasoned professional to become part of their newly established Project Management team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to oversee projects of medium to high complexity, ensuring balance across scope, schedule, budget, risk, outcomes, and benefits.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Project Manager, your role will be central to managing and executing projects under the Group Strategic Delivery Office. You will be responsible for planning, initiating, and directing medium to high-complexity projects from inception to completion. Your decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills will be essential in leading change initiatives that align with broader organisational objectives. You will also work closely with the Programme Manager and the Group Strategic Delivery Office to ensure your project is aligned with the wider transformation portfolio.

• Plan, initiate and manage projects from inception to completion
• Ensure adherence to external regulatory requirements, internal control standards, and group compliance policies
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, including sponsorship, checkpoints, and steering committees
• Lead the execution of strategic change initiatives across business units
• Collaborate with the Programme Manager and Group Strategic Delivery Office to ensure alignment with overall change portfolio and group strategy
• Make informed decisions while managing senior stakeholder relationships and expectations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in managing large, complex projects and a strong understanding of the banking environment. You are well-versed in delivering projects that generate measurable business outcomes and are familiar with Agile methodologies, project lifecycle best practices, and governance frameworks. PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is required.
