Senior Analyst (FP&A) | 12 Months Contract

Senior FP&A Analyst in Kuala Lumpur, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and finance automation. Requires 4–5 years’ experience, advanced Excel/VBA, SAP knowledge and strong stakeholder management skills.

A leading organisation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join their Finance team. This role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting financial planning and analysis activities, driving process automation, and delivering insightful business intelligence.

What you'll do:

• Automate budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and billing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the Finance function.
• Develop and improve cost centre and expense trend reporting systems, ensuring clarity and transparency for all stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, revenue analysis, and cost analysis activities by providing reliable data and thoughtful insights.
• Analyse financial results thoroughly to identify key variances, risks, and business drivers that influence organisational performance.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports and engaging presentations tailored for various stakeholders within the business.
• Liaise regularly with Business Units and Group Finance to discuss financial performance, forecasts, and address queries in a considerate manner.
• Identify process improvement opportunities by evaluating current workflows and implementing enhancements that benefit the wider team.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to communal goals.

What you bring:

• 4–5 years of relevant FP&A / financial analysis experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA & Macros
• SAP experience
• Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills
• Good English and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and multitasking abilities
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes
