Project Manager (Japanese Speaker - Telco)

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Japanese-Speaking Project Manager to lead enterprise technology, networking and cybersecurity project delivery initiatives for multinational customers. The role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams across network, cloud, security and vendor organisations while managing project governance, delivery timelines, risks, budgets and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology initiatives involving SD-WAN, cloud security and Zero Trust access.
● Lead enterprise cloud, networking and cybersecurity transformation programmes for multinational customers.
● Deliver multi-country SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, cloud migration and managed security programmes.
● Manage enterprise network deployments involving WAN and SD-WAN, supporting performance, resilience and multi-site connectivity across regional and global environments.
● Support cloud integration and migration projects across AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
● Oversee cybersecurity implementations including Secure Web Gateway, CASB, Firewall-as-a-Service and Zero Trust frameworks aligned with SASE architecture.
● Coordinate the integration of security and network platforms with SIEM and observability solutions to improve operational visibility, monitoring, threat detection and incident response.
● Direct geographically distributed delivery teams across network, cloud, security and vendor organisations.
● Develop project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
● Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, SLAs and contractual commitments.
● Lead issue management, risk identifi cation, mitigation planning and escalation management throughout the project lifecycle.
● Manage programme governance, executive reporting and stakeholder communications.
● Coordinate technical, onsite and vendor resources throughout the project lifecycle.
● Gather customer requirements and coordinate with internal and external teams to provide customised technology and network services.
● Coordinate project meetings, discussions and documentation with Japanese-speaking customers and internal teams.
● Support the transition of completed technical projects into operational environments.
● Maintain strong communication and alignment between Japanese customers, regional teams and technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

● Proven experience in Project Management / Programme Management, preferably within IT, telecommunications, networking, cloud or cybersecurity environments.
● Experience delivering complex technology transformation projects across APAC or multi-country environments.
● Strong understanding of Enterprise Network, SD-WAN, SASE, Security Service Edge, Zero Trust Network Access and cloud environments.
● Experience managing cross-functional technical teams, vendors and geographically distributed delivery teams.
● Strong project planning, project delivery, governance, issue management and stakeholder management skills.
● Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks and SLAs.
● Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
● Experience gathering customer requirements and delivering customised technical services.
● Professional fl uency in Japanese and English is required.
● Strong cross-cultural communication skills, particularly when working with Japanese customers or stakeholders.
● Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
