What you'll do:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all IT systems to ensure continuous availability and optimal performance throughout the organisation.
• Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, proactively identifying areas for improvement and ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive IT policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all hardware components are properly maintained, conducting regular audits and coordinating upgrades as necessary to support business needs.
• Work closely with vendors for hardware procurement, maintenance, and troubleshooting, fostering dependable partnerships that benefit the organisation.
• Supervise the deployment, maintenance, and support of business-critical applications, ensuring they remain current and fully aligned with operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot application-related issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain productivity across all departments.

• Demonstrated ability to develop effective policies that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
• Exceptional skills in managing vendor relationships including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Experience conducting thorough hardware audits as well as planning for upgrades that align with organisational goals.
• Proficiency in deploying and supporting business applications tailored to meet specific operational requirements.
• Strong background in implementing security measures such as regular audits and vulnerability assessments to safeguard company data.
