Our client is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to play a pivotal role in the deployment, training, and ongoing success of Synapse® Enterprise Imaging and other medical informatics solutions across their network. What you'll do:
As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will be at the forefront of deploying and implementing Synapse® Enterprise Imaging systems across various client sites. Your role will extend beyond just technical implementation; you will also be responsible for conducting comprehensive training sessions for clinical staff, ensuring they are proficient in using these advanced systems. You will act as the primary point of contact for any clinical application support needed, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions. Your understanding of clinical workflows will enable you to provide valuable recommendations to clients, facilitating the customization of solutions to meet their unique needs. Post-implementation, your role doesn't end; you will maintain regular check-ins with clients to assess user satisfaction and address any emerging needs or feedback. Your commitment to continuous improvement will be evident as you gather user feedback and suggest product enhancements.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and integration of Synapse® Enterprise Imaging systems across client sites.
- Support project engineers in technical aspects of solution deployment.
- Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for clinical staff.
- Develop and maintain training materials and user guides.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Clinical Application Specialist position brings a wealth of experience in healthcare informatics. With a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology or a related field, you have spent at least three years working with enterprise imaging or other clinical systems in a healthcare setting. Your proficiency in DICOM and HL7 standards, coupled with your understanding of healthcare workflows, makes you an asset to any team. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to train diverse users effectively, while your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ensure that no issue goes unresolved. You approach every task with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and are able to work independently under minimal supervision. Your persuasive nature motivates others to act, and your willingness to travel outstation demonstrates your commitment to the role.
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a clinically related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with enterprise imaging, PACS/RIS, or other clinical systems in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in DICOM and HL7 standards, and an understanding of healthcare workflows.
