What you'll do:

As a Functional Consultant – Retail Systems based in Kuala Lumpur, you will take ownership of delivering complex LS Central projects for prominent retail clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing full project lifecycles—from initial scoping through detailed planning, hands-on execution, thorough testing phases, seamless data migration efforts, orchestrating go-live events, and conducting insightful post-implementation reviews. • Support end-to-end delivery of LS Central implementations for clients across various retail sectors, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely completion.
• Oversee all phases of project execution including scoping, planning, testing, data migration, go-live activities, and comprehensive post-implementation reviews.
• Manage ongoing client support functions by developing service level agreements (SLAs), ticketing workflows, and clear communication standards to guarantee system stability.
• Build lasting relationships with clients by acting as a trusted advisor for their retail systems needs and providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising functional consultants, developers, and support analysts located in both Malaysia and Vietnam to deliver successful outcomes.

• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple concurrent client-facing projects while leading support teams towards shared goals.
• Comprehensive understanding of core retail business processes such as point-of-sale operations, inventory management, loyalty programmes, pricing strategies, and reporting mechanisms.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster effective communication with clients as well as internal teams—ensuring clarity around requirements and expectations at every stage.
• Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional environments spanning different countries or regions—particularly Malaysia and Vietnam.
