What you'll do:
As a Senior IT Finance Analyst based in Petaling Jaya, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly influence the evolution of finance operations on a global scale. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges within accounting and treasury functions. You will champion the adoption of advanced technological solutions by facilitating discussions among regional stakeholders and driving consensus on process enhancements. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you develop detailed proposals for future-state processes while managing complex project timelines. In addition to leading requirement gathering sessions and overseeing rigorous testing phases during system rollouts, you will also play a vital role in maintaining robust relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners. By organising responses to user queries regarding financial systems and proactively improving maintenance services through KPI analysis, you will ensure optimal system performance. - Identify and organise key management issues within accounting and treasury operations by engaging with stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Explore advanced technology solutions that address operational challenges and propose effective strategies for improvement.
- Facilitate business process re-engineering discussions with accounting, treasury teams, global heads, local finance departments, IT teams, and other relevant parties.
- Develop comprehensive proposals outlining future-state processes, project approaches, schedules, and negotiate with stakeholders to launch new global initiatives.
- Lead clarification sessions for business requirements and functional specifications, overseeing system testing phases such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live activities, hyper care support, and stabilisation of new system rollouts.
- Manage relationships with internal teams including headquarters, local finance units, IT departments as well as external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Organise responses to finance system inquiries, user ID role applications, and change requests from business users for various systems such as ERP and ticketing platforms.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for system maintenance activities and proactively implement improvements based on these metrics.
- Monitor finance system issues or interface errors closely and collaborate with IT teams to resolve them efficiently.
- Develop new functionalities using low-code/no-code platforms for business process re-engineering projects and ensure stable ongoing operations.

- Minimum qualification of an Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance or Management Information Systems is required for this position.
- At least three years of practical experience in Shared Service Centres (SSC), demonstrating strong capabilities in managing financial systems or leading business process re-engineering projects.
- A collaborative mindset that enables you to work effectively across different specialties and teams towards shared business objectives—especially between business units and IT functions.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process enhancement within finance operations.
- Demonstrated strength in project management, change management practices, and stakeholder engagement/control throughout complex initiatives.
- Excellent presentation skills coupled with thorough documentation abilities and adeptness at facilitating meetings involving diverse participants.
- Outstanding communication skills in English—both verbal and written—are essential for interacting with global teams.
- High adaptability that allows you to thrive amid rapid organisational changes typical of large-scale transformation environments.
- Experience with one or more of the following: SAP FI modules; finance applications such as Coupa/Ariba (procurement), Concur (expense), Cadency/Blackline (closing), SNOW (system maintenance); business intelligence tools like Power BI/Google Looker/Tableau/SAP Analytics Cloud; automation/generative AI platforms such as UiPath/Power Automate/Google App Script/MS Copilot.
