What you'll do:

As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst based in Petaling Jaya, you will be instrumental in shaping the evolution of SAP ECC FICO systems within an international organisation renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. • Drive continuous improvement of SAP ECC FICO systems by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and digital product innovation beyond initial rollouts.
• Engage directly with end users and finance teams to gather requirements for evolving business needs related to product costing and indirect tax processes.
• Develop comprehensive functional design documents, create detailed test scripts, and conduct thorough product testing to ensure robust system solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including ICT, finance, and external vendors—to design, document, and implement new ways of working aligned with business objectives.
• Provide expert support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Simulation Testing (BST), ensuring users are well-prepared for system changes.
• Assist in validating training materials and delivering user training sessions to facilitate smooth adoption of new functionalities.
• Contribute actively to project activities such as site preparation, cut-over planning, go-live support, and post-implementation troubleshooting for new acquisitions adopting SAP ECC Finance solutions.
• Support integration efforts for E-Invoicing and E-Accounting processes by ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP ECC and external tax engines or platforms.
• Maintain high-quality documentation standards by writing clear functional specifications and business process design documents for all enhancements.
• Occasionally travel as required to provide on-site deployment support or participate in enhancement projects at various locations.

• Proficiency with Excel and advanced data manipulation techniques enables effective analysis of complex datasets relevant to financial operations.
• A deep understanding of SAP ECC Indirect Tax processes—including best practices for integration with external tax engines—ensures compliance and efficiency.
• Experience with system integrations supporting E-Invoicing and E-Accounting processes allows you to facilitate seamless digital workflows across platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills empower you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and vendors throughout project lifecycles.
• Strong written communication abilities are essential for producing clear functional specifications and comprehensive business process documentation.
