What you'll do:
As Head of Tech for LS Retail, you will play an instrumental role in shaping how retail technology solutions are delivered across Southeast Asia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding your team through complex LS Central implementations from initial scoping right through to successful go-lives. You will also oversee ongoing support operations to ensure clients experience minimal disruption and maximum value from their systems. By managing both internal teams across borders and external vendor relationships with care and precision, you will help create a collaborative environment focused on quality outcomes. Your attention to detail in documentation practices will underpin every successful project while your commitment to process improvement ensures that the division remains agile in response to new challenges. - Oversee the end-to-end delivery of LS Central implementations for diverse retail clients, ensuring all projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Direct project scoping, planning, execution, testing phases, data migration activities, go-live events, and comprehensive post-implementation reviews for each client engagement.
- Manage the LS Central support function by establishing robust SLAs, ticketing workflows, and clear communication standards that guarantee timely issue resolution and system stability.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients by acting as their trusted advisor on all aspects of their retail systems and providing ongoing support tailored to their evolving needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams located in Malaysia and Vietnam—including functional consultants, developers, and support analysts—by fostering collaboration and shared accountability.
- Coordinate with outsourced vendors and strategic partners for development work, integrations with third-party platforms, or specialised support requirements as needed.
- Plan resource allocation effectively based on current project pipelines and anticipated support demands to ensure optimal team performance.
- Ensure the production of complete functional specifications, technical design documents, configuration guides, and testing scripts for every project undertaken by the division.
- Establish documentation standards and version control processes that promote consistency and traceability across all projects within the division.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives for internal methodologies, templates, support processes, and stay abreast of enhancements in LS Central and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Your background should include direct involvement with LS Central implementations where you have managed entire project lifecycles from inception through post-go-live review. - At least eight years’ experience delivering ERP or POS solutions within the retail sector with a proven track record of managing multiple client-facing projects simultaneously.
- Minimum three years’ hands-on involvement with LS Central or LS Retail solutions including full responsibility for at least two complete project lifecycles for new clients.
- Comprehensive understanding of core retail business processes such as point-of-sale operations, inventory management, loyalty programmes, pricing strategies, and reporting requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate clearly with clients at all levels while fostering teamwork among cross-functional groups based in different countries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage support teams effectively by developing SLAs, implementing ticketing systems, and maintaining high standards of client communication.
- Experience collaborating with outsourced vendors or delivery partners for development work or niche support areas relevant to retail technology solutions.
- Strong organisational skills that allow you to plan resource allocation efficiently according to fluctuating project pipelines and support workloads.
- Proficiency in producing detailed functional specifications, technical design documents, configuration guides, testing scripts as well as maintaining documentation standards across projects.
- Up-to-date knowledge of enhancements within LS Central and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments is highly desirable.
- Project management certifications such as PMP or familiarity with ITIL processes or helpdesk systems would be advantageous.
