AWS Cloud Engineer (1-Year Contract)

This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, managing incidents, optimizing cloud environments, and advising customers on best practices for scalability, security, and cost efficiency. What you'll do:

• Diagnose and resolve issues across AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and more.
• Respond to customer-reported incidents based on severity levels and provide real-time support during production outages.
• Advise customers on high availability architectures, performance optimization, cost management strategies, and security best practices.
• Monitor cloud environments using tools like Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and Trusted Advisor to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Automate deployments and operational tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash/PowerShell) and CI/CD tools.
• Document root cause analyses (RCA), create knowledge base articles, and share learnings with the team to enhance overall support quality.

What you bring:

• Proven expertise in AWS core services with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and optimization.
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration and networking concepts.
• Strong scripting skills with experience in automation using Python or similar languages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like CodePipeline or Jenkins.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly to customers.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work effectively under pressure during critical incidents.
