What you'll do:

As a Cloud Solution Architect based in Kuala Lumpur, you will immerse yourself in designing robust public cloud architectures tailored to client needs. Your day-to-day activities will involve partnering with sales teams during pre-sales engagements, guiding customers through every stage of their cloud journey—from initial consultation through solution design to implementation. You will be responsible for driving customer success by ensuring seamless adoption of cloud services while acting as a trusted advisor on both strategic direction and technical execution. • Collaborate closely with sales teams as a technology specialist to define and deliver public cloud solutions throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.

• Lead solution and product innovation initiatives by championing regional use cases and influencing product roadmaps in partnership with product managers.

• Deliver professional services for cloud projects when required, leveraging hands-on experience to ensure successful outcomes for clients.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer-facing technical roles within cloud or hosting provider environments is essential for this position.
• Proven track record architecting complex Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions for enterprise clients using leading public cloud platforms.
• Professional-level architect certifications from major providers such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform are highly desirable.
• Hands-on expertise in at least three domains including Kubernetes orchestration, advanced cloud networking, database management systems, storage solutions, artificial intelligence or GPU workloads, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tooling, gaming or media streaming technology stacks.
• Demonstrated proficiency with open source technologies such as Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, Redis caching systems, Nginx web servers, Terraform automation tools among others.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information effectively to varied audiences.
• Experience delivering professional services for cloud projects is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
• A collaborative mindset with sensitivity towards diverse perspectives within multinational teams is highly valued.
