OpenShift Engineer Lead (Financial Services)

As an OpenShift Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the DevOps pipeline for financial applications, including automating processes to reduce manual interaction. The role involves setting up new pipelines for releases, analysing and resolving DevOps automation issues, and staying abreast of industry trends to drive innovation. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, multitasking to support operational objectives.

What you'll do:

• Support and enhance the DevOps pipeline for financial applications.
• Optimize performance issues in deployment pipelines.
• Automate existing CI/CD pipelines to minimize manual tasks.
• Collaborate with application teams to set up new DevOps pipelines.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution for automation issues.
• Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to DevOps and operational innovation.

What you bring:

• Over 10 years of experience in Unix/RHEL and OpenShift containerization, including shell scripting.
• Proficiency in system and database backup/restore and disaster recovery.
• Ability to document technical architecture with server/network diagrams.
• Understanding of Development/SIT/UAT/Production environments.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting and web-based applications’ architecture.
• Experience Windows server administration, MS SQL-Server/Oracle, and WebLogic/WebSphere/MQ/Control-M/IIS is an added advantage.
• Experience leading a small team
