Cloud Architect (Banking)

As a Cloud Architect at this large-scale financial services, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of cloud architecture frameworks to align with business objectives regionally. This pivotal role supports the bank's technology strategies by guiding IT initiatives across the region, ensuring seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing systems and enhancing organizational capabilities.

What you'll do:

• Design and maintain a comprehensive cloud architecture strategy aligned with the financial group’s business objectives.
• Integrate cloud architecture with security, data, and integration architectures to strengthen organizational capacity.
• Develop and enforce cloud governance standards and manage cloud resources effectively.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud technologies, including hybrid clouds and native cloud services, to maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to implement cloud solutions that support business goals.
• Communicate cloud strategies and benefits to stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and lead the exploration of innovative cloud solutions to enhance business growth and efficiency.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise-level technology architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure, with a proven track record of leading large-scale cloud projects.
• AWS or Azure Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF certifications are preferred.
• Expertise in cloud services, architecture patterns, and secure cloud design.
• Strong leadership skills to drive technology change initiatives and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction and team leadership.
• Strategic thinker focused on delivering practical, innovative cloud solutions.
