• Deploy models using reliable methods that guarantee scalability, reliability, and maintainability throughout their lifecycle.

Your background should include designing scalable ML pipelines using industry-standard tools while maintaining a keen focus on code quality and system reliability. You are adept at translating business challenges into actionable data science problems—leveraging your proficiency in Python programming alongside deep familiarity with leading ML libraries. Your approach is grounded in thorough testing practices; you consistently monitor deployed models for performance issues such as drift or degradation. With practical knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (including Azure services), you are comfortable deploying robust solutions at scale. • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning or equivalent experience demonstrating deep technical understanding of ML concepts.
• Proven object-oriented software development skills with significant experience building machine learning applications using Python alongside core libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch as well as natural language processing tools like transformers, Langchain, (Azure) OpenAI, and prompt engineering methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to select appropriate ML libraries and frameworks based on project-specific requirements while optimising for scalability and maintainability.
• Comprehensive knowledge of constructing efficient ML pipelines with parallelisation techniques that streamline data processing workflows.
• Hands-on experience deploying models via APIs for both real-time inference and batch processing scenarios within distributed computing environments.
• Familiarity with designing data structures that maximise model throughput while minimising latency in high-demand applications.
• Experience setting up detailed logging systems coupled with generating actionable performance metrics for ongoing monitoring of deployed models.
• In-depth understanding of hyperparameter tuning strategies as well as rigorous model selection processes tailored to diverse tasks.
• Track record of monitoring production models for degradation or drift with proactive implementation of mitigation measures when required.
• Advanced skills in creating automated CI/CD pipelines supporting the full ML model lifecycle from development through deployment updates.
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP along with Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory for scalable solution delivery.
• Excellent communication abilities paired with strong teamwork skills enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
