• Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning methods to address real-world challenges and deliver measurable impact.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate developed models into production environments for maximum utility.
• Engage with product managers and business stakeholders to define key performance indicators and success metrics rooted in data-driven strategies.
• Translate intricate technical findings into clear, business-friendly insights and compelling visualisations for diverse audiences.
• Contribute actively to all phases of the AI lifecycle including problem framing, data wrangling, model development, evaluation, and deployment.
• Maintain and enhance robust data pipelines and machine learning workflows in partnership with MLOps specialists and engineering colleagues.
• Stay informed about the latest research trends in AI, machine learning, and data science to ensure solutions remain at the cutting edge.
• Prototype experimental approaches rapidly, evaluate their performance against benchmarks, and promote best practices while mentoring junior practitioners where appropriate.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline demonstrating strong analytical foundations.
• At least three years’ experience in data science or analytics roles with proven contributions within an AI-focused team setting.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages used for statistical analysis and model development.
• Hands-on expertise with leading machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch for building sophisticated models.
• Advanced SQL skills coupled with familiarity working on big data platforms like Spark or Hadoop for handling large datasets efficiently.
• Experience utilising modern data visualisation tools including Power BI, Tableau or Plotly to present findings effectively.
• A solid grasp of statistical modelling concepts including A/B testing methodologies and predictive analytics techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical concepts so they are accessible to non-technical stakeholders across the business.
• Experience deploying machine learning models into cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP is highly desirable (nice to have).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools like MLflow, Kubeflow or DVC is advantageous (nice to have), along with exposure to NLP or reinforcement learning domains (nice to have), plus awareness of data governance principles and ethical AI practices (nice to have).
