Supply Chain Manager/Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Jobs & Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive guidance and training to the supply chain team, ensuring their ongoing development and performance (For Manager Role Only)
- Coordinate and monitor third-party logistics (3PL) and fourth-party logistics (4PL) activities related to inventory management, warehousing, and secondary assembly within regulatory guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with distributors to manage demand forecasts, order replenishment cycles, invoicing processes, and goods receipt documentation.
- Track inventory issues proactively, escalating unresolved matters to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory targets by maintaining safety stock levels, optimising fill rates, and monitoring months-on-hand as approved by management.
- Prepare detailed reports on forecast accuracy and inventory performance versus established targets for senior management review.
- Monitor inventory at the SKU level to recommend rationalisation or adjustments based on evolving demand trends.
- Oversee backorders, shipments, freight-related issues, and coordinate product disposal activities with relevant partners.
- Maintain accurate documentation and standard operating procedures for procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes.
- Lead process improvement initiatives within the supply chain function to drive operational excellence.
Skills & Experiences :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field is required for this position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential for effective reporting and communication.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English as well as Bahasa Malaysia is necessary to liaise with regional stakeholders.
- A minimum of six years’ (Manager) & three years (Senior SC Analyst) experience in warehousing and distribution within a 3PL-managed environment focused on order fulfilment in the medical devices industry is highly desirable.
- At least two to three years’ experience in a managerial or leadership capacity with proven success developing high-performing teams is expected (Manager)
- Demonstrated expertise managing end-to-end supply chain activities including demand planning, warehousing, inventory control, distribution, and logistics is crucial.
- Familiarity with Malaysian customs regulations along with import/export documentation requirements is important for compliance purposes.
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle as well as forecasting tools like JDA will be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate effectively with internal departments such as sales, marketing, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, finance as well as external partners like 3PL/4PL providers and distributors.
- Excellent analytical abilities combined with sound judgement are required to resolve complex problems efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
