Procurement Specialist - Ingredients | 2 Years Contract

Join a global organisation’s Meals & Beverage business as a Procurement Specialist – Ingredients. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day procurement activities while supporting business continuity and transformation initiatives.

You'll work closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams in a collaborative environment that values your expertise, with flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

What You'll Do

• Manage ingredient sourcing and delegated sub-categories, including RFI/RFP processes, pricing analysis, and supplier evaluations.
• Build strong supplier relationships while managing quality, costs, ESG compliance, and supply risks.
• Identify cost savings, mitigate inflation, and support innovation initiatives.
• Maintain accurate contracts, pricing, supplier records, and procurement data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and supply assurance.
• Monitor KPIs, manage risks, and support process improvements and transformation projects.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in direct procurement, sourcing, or category management, preferably within the ingredients sector.
• A relevant bachelor's degree or professional qualification.
• Experience in supplier management, cost optimisation, and procurement processes.
• Exposure to transformation projects, system implementation, or process standardisation.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A dependable, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently.
