Senior Manager Supply Chain (Healthcare) A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to oversee and optimise supply chain operations across their extensive network of pharmacies and clinics in Malaysia.

What you'll do:

As Senior Manager Supply Chain, you will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end supply chain activities across an expansive healthcare retail environment.

• Oversee all aspects of supply chain management including procurement, inventory control, supply planning, warehouse operations, and distribution across multiple sites.
• Ensure suppliers are aligned with organisational goals and maintain optimal stock availability while minimising out-of-stock situations throughout the pharmacy and clinic network.
• Monitor healthy stock levels by improving inventory visibility and controls; currently transitioning from manual tracking to more automated processes.
• Review ordering procedures and supply planning strategies to optimise min-max inventory levels for thousands of SKUs.
• Streamline warehouse and logistics operations with fulfilment as a key performance indicator, collaborating closely with logistics specialists during the first phase of the role.
• Work cross-functionally to influence various departments towards adopting centralised corporate practices that enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks in current processes and implementing solutions that foster communal success.

What you bring:

To excel as Senior Manager Supply Chain, you will bring substantial experience managing complex supply chains within retail or healthcare sectors.

• Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management covering procurement, inventory control, logistics & distribution, warehouse operations, and supply planning within retail or healthcare environments.
• Experience managing sizeable teams with a focus on nurturing talent through supportive leadership practices that encourage collaboration and communal growth.
• Competence in utilising data analytics platforms like Microsoft Fabric alongside internal data scientists to drive informed decision-making within the supply chain context.
• Track record of maintaining healthy stock levels by improving inventory visibility controls; experience transitioning from manual tracking methods is highly valued.
• Ability to streamline warehouse operations with fulfilment as a key KPI while collaborating closely with logistics experts during onboarding phases.
• Experience developing min-max planning strategies for replenishment across large SKU portfolios within fast-growing networks.
• Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry exposure is advantageous; understanding medical terminology supports effective communication within the sector.
