What you'll do:
As Head of Procurement (Hospitality), you will play a central role in shaping the future of procurement within a dynamic hospitality group.

- Build stronger capability within the team in category management, negotiation techniques, supplier relationship management, commercial evaluation, and decision support.
- Oversee both strategic sourcing activities and operational workflow management
- Develop and implement robust sourcing strategies across all major spend categories by conducting supplier market analysis, demand aggregation, vendor rationalisation, and sourcing prioritisation.
- Lead major negotiations with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers to achieve optimal commercial outcomes beyond unit price—including payment terms, service levels, warranties, contract terms, delivery performance, scalability, and risk allocation.
- Oversee tendering processes such as RFQ/RFP exercises across the group to ensure competitive sourcing with strong commercial rigour while reviewing bid strategies and award recommendations.
- Partner closely with business units and functional leaders to understand requirements, challenge needs where appropriate, shape effective sourcing strategies, and act as a trusted advisor on procurement matters.

- Proven track record in strategic sourcing activities including supplier negotiation techniques and category management across broad portfolios is expected.
- Experience overseeing both strategic procurement functions and operational workflow management within multi-site or consumer-facing organisations is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to improve procurement capability through team development initiatives focused on category management skills and commercial evaluation methods.
- Sound financial acumen combined with commercial judgement enables you to interpret specifications accurately while assessing alternative commercial models for scalable sourcing approaches.
