What you'll do:
As a Trading Manager - Laurics, your primary responsibility will be to manage the Global Lauric book, overseeing procurement and marketing activities for Group Units. You'll leverage your commercial acumen to procure laurics at competitive prices, focusing on logistics, flexible inputs, and inventory holding costs. Your expertise in global commodity markets will be crucial as you advise Group Units on market dynamics and price trends. Sharing your market insights with other commodity traders will enhance knowledge across trading desks. Adherence to Group guidelines on Risk Management will be paramount. Lastly, you'll identify pure trading opportunities and execute trades based on approved policy guidelines.
- Hold the Global Lauric book which covers procurements and marketing for Group Units.
- Procure laurics based on Group Unit requirements at competitive prices.
- Market lauric products in bulk and assist Industrial Fats team to position sales in containers.
- Advise Group Units on Lauric market dynamics and price trends.
- Share market insight with other commodity traders in palm complex.
- Follow Group guidelines on Risk Management.
- Identify pure trading opportunities and trade based on approved policy guidelines.
