  • Manage the performance of logistics service providers by setting clear expectations, monitoring service levels, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Control and monitor freight costs alongside service levels to achieve optimal balance between efficiency and expenditure.
  • Collaborate with other managers and staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives that drive continuous improvement within the centre.
  • Generate accurate reports and metrics required by management or authorities such as Customs in a timely manner to support decision-making processes.
  • Consistently seek opportunities for process improvement in accuracy and productivity through Kaizen methodologies or similar approaches.
  • Ensure employees are trained, certified, and documented in carrying out their duties according to internal standards.
  • Uphold compliance with ethical standards as well as the internal Quality Management System across all activities within the distribution centre.
