A leading logistics provider is seeking a Senior Executive Logistics Customer Service to join their dedicated team, supporting the Asia-Pacific region.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Executive Logistics Customer Service, you will immerse yourself in the daily orchestration of international shipments for key clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
- Receive, book, track, and manage shipments across multiple modes of transport including sea and air, ensuring all processes are handled efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor shipment progress closely while maintaining up-to-date status visibility for both internal teams and external customers.
- Handle all transport-related documentation with precision, reviewing documents for accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by providing timely responses to enquiries and requests, fostering positive relationships through effective communication.
- Liaise proactively with appointed service partners to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Troubleshoot incidents by collaborating with all involved parties, utilising available resources to develop corrective action plans and resolve complaints promptly.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to customers, ensuring transparency and clarity in all communications regarding shipment status and performance metrics.
What you bring:
To excel as a Senior Executive Logistics Customer Service professional in this organisation, you will bring substantial hands-on experience from the international transport sector—ideally gained through roles involving complex shipment coordination across multiple modes.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in international transport logistics with a proven record of coordinating shipments via sea, air, truck, rail or express services.
- Comprehensive understanding of shipping terms, documentation requirements, and industry-specific terminology essential for efficient logistics management.
- Demonstrated organisational abilities with experience managing IT-based day-to-day operations within a logistics environment.
- Proficiency in common office applications such as Microsoft Office is necessary; familiarity with SAP systems would be advantageous
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural teams while building strong inter-personal connections across departments and networks.
- Experience preparing detailed reports for customers that clearly communicate shipment status updates and performance outcomes.
- Willingness to support ongoing process improvements by participating actively in SOP reviews and contributing ideas for enhanced efficiency.
