What you'll do:
As a Regional Demand and Supply Planner, you will be responsible for integrating demand forecasting with master scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning within the Integrated Business Planning framework.
- Lead the creation of statistical forecasts using historical data and system tools to ensure accurate demand projections across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
- Drive monthly Demand Review cycles by providing variance commentary, identifying risks and opportunities, and updating forecasts based on evolving market conditions.
- Monitor forecast accuracy continuously and implement improvement actions to enhance reliability and responsiveness.
- Convert consensus demand plans into actionable supply plans across weekly, monthly, and longer horizons while considering capacity constraints.
- Conduct capacity checks versus demand to flag potential bottlenecks or limitations within the supply chain.
- Lead monthly Supply Review cycles by offering variance commentary, highlighting risks and opportunities, and updating supply plans as needed.
- Place reconditions for stock replenishment contracts and manage orders to meet customer needs efficiently.
- Develop inventory strategies that balance service levels, working capital targets, and storage constraints for optimal resource utilisation.
What you bring:
Your proven experience as a Regional Demand and Supply Planner will include expertise in synthesising complex data sets from multiple sources into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field is required for this position.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in similar roles within manufacturing or supply chain environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills are essential for reconciling data from multiple planning systems and reports to support decision-making processes.
- Proficiency with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Excel spreadsheets, and planning dashboards is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly under constrained or variable supply conditions is crucial for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in food manufacturing supply chains provides valuable context for understanding industry-specific challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, production planners, procurement specialists, finance professionals, logistics coordinators, and customer service representatives.
