What you'll do:

As a Demand Planning Manager you will play a central role in orchestrating the market’s IBP process across multiple product categories.

  • Lead the implementation of a standardised and disciplined Integrated Business Planning process for all product categories, ensuring adherence to global standards and local governance requirements.
  • Facilitate monthly business reviews by preparing detailed reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators such as service levels, inventory metrics, order lead times, and productivity measures.
  • Drive alignment of demand forecasts with actuals, budgets, and plans by advising customer service teams on variances and recommending corrective actions to optimise supply chain performance.
  • Oversee the generation and maintenance of an 18-month rolling forecast, identifying demand plan variations and exceptions while driving root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with global category teams, synchronisation hubs, and market stakeholders to manage product lifecycles, including phase-in/phase-out processes for new product introductions.
  • Monitor demand planning metrics using advanced analytical tools to identify gaps in performance and proactively develop solutions that enhance service levels while controlling costs.

What you bring:

To excel as a Demand Planning Manager in this forward-thinking organisation, you will bring a robust blend of technical expertise and interpersonal sensitivity.

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field is highly desirable for this position.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management), IBF (Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning), or Lean Six Sigma are considered advantageous.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), electronics or medical device industries with proven expertise in forecasting, supply chain planning, integrated business planning (IBP), and data analytics is essential.
  • Advanced analytical acumen allowing you to interpret large datasets effectively so as to inform strategic decisions that improve overall business performance is expected.
  • Strong business acumen with the capacity to link analytical findings directly to commercial outcomes while understanding broader implications for the organisation is important.
  • System proficiency with SAP or similar supply chain planning solutions is required; familiarity with automation tools or digital transformation initiatives would be beneficial.
