An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Supply Demand Planning Manager to join a world-leading taste and nutrition company in Penang. What you'll do:
As a Supply Demand Planning Manager, your role will be pivotal in managing and coordinating three pillars: demand planning, supply planning, and materials planning activities. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing efficient, customer-focused Supply Chain policies and processes. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving OTIF targets at optimal cost through efficient management of the supply chain. You will also manage inventory to optimum levels to support customer demand while ensuring timely supply planning and materials planning activities.
- Manage and coordinate demand planning, supply planning, and materials planning activities
- Ensure the development & implementation of efficient, customer-focused Supply Chain policies and processes
- Achieve OTIF targets at optimal cost through efficient management of the supply chain
- Manage inventory to optimum levels to support customer demand
- Monitor and ensure timely supply planning and materials planning activities
- Analyse reports, data and performance of supply chain for continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate and cooperate with suppliers for all matters related to supply chain
- Manage and coordinate Supply Chain projects to successful outcomes
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Supply Demand Planning Manager position brings a wealth of experience in the field. With a minimum of 10 years' experience in a Supply Chain role, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, you have proven your ability to manage complex operations effectively. Your strong track record in implementing and managing an S&OP process is complemented by your demonstrated exposure to SAP. Your ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment sets you apart from others.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Business/Commerce
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role with at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment – Food / Ingredients manufacturing preferred but not essential
- Strong track record in implementing and managing an S&OP process
- Demonstrated exposure to SAP essential
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
