Regional Leadership Role
We are partnering with a confidential multinational group to appoint a senior Regional Leader to helm the Southeast Asia business. This role carries full accountability for the region’s commercial strategy, operational oversight, and financial performance.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a region’s direction while working alongside a high-caliber global leadership team. The appointed leader will be expected to deliver growth in a complex, matrix-led environment by aligning strategic initiatives with execution, managing regional teams, and ensuring cross-border business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning, operational execution, and commercial performance across multiple countries in Southeast Asia.
- Own the regional P&L, driving revenue growth while ensuring cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Translate global strategies into actionable plans that are locally executable and aligned with long-term business goals.
- Build, coach, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams with a focus on accountability, engagement, and results.
- Navigate complex market dynamics and provide sound judgment on commercial partnerships, pricing, and regional risk.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership at the global level to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to shape decision-making and performance.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications a plus.
- At least a minimum of 20 years' total experience with a minimum of 6 years’ in a senior leadership capacity with full regional oversight and P&L accountability.
- Deep commercial understanding and strong industry network within the manufacturing value chain – especially with OEMs and Suppliers.
- Demonstrated success leading commercial and operational strategy across Southeast Asia or similar multi-country environments.
- Strong financial acumen with a proven ability to forecast, analyze, and drive profitability.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability; adept at balancing short-term priorities with long-term vision.
- Skilled at leading and influencing diverse teams across cultures, markets, and business contexts.
- Known for resilience, adaptability, and a growth-oriented mindset.
