This is an exceptional opportunity for you to shape and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, working with diverse teams and agencies to deliver impactful campaigns in SEA markets.

What you'll do:

As a Regional Trade Marketing Manager Fast Moving Consumer Goods, you will be entrusted with shaping the future of several high-profile brands across Southeast Asia. Your day-to-day will involve crafting robust marketing strategies tailored to local market dynamics while ensuring alignment with broader business goals. You will work hand-in-hand with sales teams to translate consumer insights into actionable campaigns that resonate both online and offline. By leveraging your expertise in digital content creation and agency management, you will orchestrate memorable brand experiences at every customer touchpoint—from social media engagement to in-store activations. Your analytical acumen will be essential as you monitor campaign effectiveness, optimise resource allocation within budget constraints, and provide actionable recommendations based on competitive intelligence. Success in this role means not only delivering outstanding results but also fostering strong connections across internal teams and external partners throughout the region.

  • Develop comprehensive marketing objectives and strategies for multiple product categories to achieve top-three market positioning in core countries.
  • Design and implement integrated 360-degree marketing plans covering above-the-line (ATL), below-the-line (BTL), digital channels, events, promotions, and in-store activations as part of annual business planning.
  • Lead the execution of approved brand plans by collaborating with internal stakeholders such as sales managers and export teams as well as external partners including distributors and agencies.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms to boost brand awareness and drive traffic to e-commerce channels in selected countries.
  • Manage relationships with media and creative agencies for both traditional advertising and digital campaigns, ensuring effective activation at all touchpoints.
  • Oversee on-ground event management and sampling activities at various locations such as retail stores, hospitals, clinics, and online platforms; develop supporting materials for these initiatives.
  • Coordinate the development of point-of-sale materials (POSM) and communication assets while securing optimal quotations and managing logistics for timely delivery.
  • Support new product launches, re-launches, and other major marketing campaigns through integrated planning and execution across all relevant channels.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance—including post-activity evaluations—while conducting competitive analysis on pricing, communications, launches, market share trends, and more.
  • Plan and track the marketing budget for developing markets (export), ensuring efficient allocation of resources while balancing competitiveness with profitability.

What you bring:

To excel as a Regional Trade Marketing Manager Fast Moving Consumer Goods, your proven track record should include hands-on experience in developing multi-channel marketing strategies within the FMCG industry. Your ability to connect with colleagues from various backgrounds—whether coordinating with sales managers or briefing creative agencies—will set you apart. You bring not only technical proficiency but also a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing brands through data-driven decision-making. Your communication style is considerate yet persuasive; you know how to build consensus around shared goals. With your keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes even under pressure, you are ready to take ownership of complex projects spanning multiple markets. Your openness to feedback ensures ongoing personal growth while your willingness to travel demonstrates dedication to building lasting relationships throughout the region.

  • A university degree or equivalent educational background is required along with fluency in both written and spoken English to facilitate effective regional communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables), PowerPoint; experience with Adobe Photoshop and video editing tools is highly desirable for content creation needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts coupled with excellent interpersonal skills that foster co-operation among diverse teams.
  • Experience of at least three years in trade marketing or brand marketing within FMCG; commercial background or people management experience would be advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience managing e-commerce channels as well as product or project management responsibilities within a fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills combined with meticulous attention to detail; enthusiasm for continuous learning within the field of marketing is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through compelling presentations that secure buy-in from both internal colleagues and external partners alike.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles including content creation for social media platforms aimed at driving engagement and conversion.
