Senior Key Account Manager (FMCG)
Our client is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. What you'll do:
As a Senior Key Account Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's business. You will be responsible for developing strategic account plans, building robust relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying growth opportunities through regular business reviews. Your collaboration with internal teams will enable you to create tailored strategies that align with the company's objectives. With your finger on the pulse of market trends, you'll identify opportunities for new product launches and promotional campaigns. Your ability to provide accurate sales forecasts will be crucial in contributing to demand planning activities. By creating an annual business plan that considers all growth levers, you'll ensure the company's continued success.
- Develop and implement account strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to analyse performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to demand planning activities.
- Create and implement annual business plan taking into account all levers of growth.
- Monitor the accounts’ performance against business plan and develop alternative strategies when needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Studies/Management or equivalent.
- Proven track record in sales management with Key Account Management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing and developing key accounts.
- Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close.
- Good command of English and Mandarin.
