What you'll do:

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions to gather updates and ensure alignment during strategy discussions.
- Assist in evaluating new product opportunities by conducting feasibility assessments, analysing market entry fit, and determining category relevance.
- Support the preparation of development proposals including drafting product concepts, technical specifications, and sourcing documents for new initiatives.
- Collaborate with R&D teams and suppliers to follow up on samples, ensure documentation readiness, and track development status through each project phase.
- Compile essential documents related to product quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance for internal review and external submission.
- Monitor category and product performance trends regularly, providing summary insights that support both strategic direction and development proposals.
- Organise portfolio mapping activities by tracking product status, monitoring performance indicators, and maintaining alignment with internal records.
- Identify potential gaps or overlaps within the product portfolio by gathering early signals from both internal sources and external market intelligence.
What you bring:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is required; additional certifications in Project Management, Product Management or Market Research are advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in product strategy, product management or business development within consumer goods or relevant industries is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough market research as well as financial analysis to support strategic planning decisions.
- Proficiency with Excel, analytics tools, financial modelling techniques, and data-driven decision-making processes is necessary.
- Familiarity with product testing protocols, quality assurance practices, and regulatory compliance requirements is highly valued.
- Strategic thinking abilities combined with strong business acumen to develop effective product roadmaps and competitive market positioning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels while fostering co-operative relationships across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting quickly to changing market conditions or evolving business needs.
- Experience compiling technical documentation related to product quality standards for both internal use and regulatory submissions is preferred.
