About The Role

The HR function across the RW Group has not been reviewed in 30+ years, and the HR team operates as two distinct structures, resulting in duplication, inefficiencies, and a high cost to serve. We are therefore proposing to implement a new HR Target Operating Model, that looks to consolidate our HR teams across the Robert Walters Group, creating ‘one team approach’ to drive change within a future optimised and consolidated RW business.

The role of Talent Management Business Partner is a newly created role in the Talent function. The role will be responsible for delivering talent management and learning solutions across all three service lines – Advisory, Outsourcing and Recruitment. Solutions include Talent Management, Learning and Development and Leadership Development.

The role will report into the Regional Head of Talent Management in their region and work closely with the wider regional HR Leadership team, and regional business leaders in the development and implementation of a global talent and development strategy across RWG, aligned to the company’s vision and values.

The role will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and guiding Talent Management Advisors & Administrators to support the implementation of Talent initiatives, Learning & Development programmes in their region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and facilitate Talent, Learning, and Leadership programmes across all service lines and SEA geographies.
  • Lead and mentor Talent Management Advisors and Administrators within the region.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across HR, the business, and global teams to align initiatives to business needs.
  • Drive the implementation of performance management, onboarding, and career development frameworks.
  • Manage rollout of talent technologies and digital learning platforms including the LMS.
  • Support strategic initiatives including succession planning, DE&I, CX, and onboarding enhancements.

Local Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively diagnose the needs coupled with creative thinking and problem-solving skills in order to provide the right solutions for both internal and external clients.
  • Able to work commercially, understand the business and align the talent management strategy with the business strategy to ensure effective execution.
  • Experience of leading and implementation of end-to-end employee development solutions that includes needs analysis, design, delivery of executive and leadership development, management development and wider learning and development programmes, talent analytics, high impact learning programmes, performance management, succession planning and career development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, judgement and a high level of collaboration and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and storytelling skills.
  • Proven experience of working with senior business leadership team and directly interacting with senior executives, along with the credibility and communication skills to build, grow and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Customer centric with high degree of business acumen.
  • Agile mindset; adaptable in flexible, global, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience working within multiple geographies and aligning approach to the local cultural context where needed.
  • Proven track record with execution of strategic and tactical Learning and Development programmes and initiatives.
  • Experience with technology, talent systems, tools and metrics.
  • Strong project management skills and commercial in delivery
  • Ability to travel internationally.
