HR Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Human Resources Director to join a prestigious resort located in the beautiful island of Langkawi. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy, fostering an inclusive work environment, and driving employee engagement and retention. What you'll do:

As the Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for developing HR strategies that align with our business objectives. You will provide leadership to the HR team, ensuring effective execution of all HR functions. Your role will involve overseeing all related SOPs to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. You will participate in executive decision-making processes, contributing significantly to our organisational strategy. Your responsibilities will also include managing all aspects of the HR department - from recruitment to employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, development, performance management, and employee engagement. You will ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while managing the HR budget effectively. A key part of your role will be addressing employee concerns promptly and resolving disputes fairly. You will foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement.

• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
• Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring effective execution of HR functions
• Oversee and review all related SOPs from time to time to ensure compliance to the laws and regulations
• Participate in executive decision-making and contribute to organisational strategy
• Manage all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Manage the HR budget and resources effectively
