Senior HR Manager (Bangi)

What you'll do:
As a Senior Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's organisation. Your expertise will be crucial in developing people strategies that align with the company's goals. You will have the opportunity to design organisation development processes that address key issues such as succession planning, workforce development, key employee retention, organisation design, and change management. Your role will also involve managing the talent acquisition process, leading employment branding exercises, reviewing training plans, ensuring legal compliance in all HR actions, and overseeing office administrative functions.
- Develop and review overall people strategy in collaboration with local and group HQ management
- Identify areas for improvement in HR standards and procedures, resolving discrepancies and keeping management informed of new developments
- Design, direct, and manage company-wide organisation development processes addressing succession planning, workforce development, key employee retention, organisation design, and change management
- Develop competitive compensation and benefits plans, benchmarking to market trends
- Implement annual Performance Management and KPI systems, monitoring performance improvement processes with non-performing employees
- Manage talent acquisition process and lead employment branding exercises through effective recruitment & interview processes
- Review training plans of the organisation to align with Company’s direction according to budget allocated.
- Proactively manage employee relations, continuously create a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Ensure full legal compliance throughout human resource management - all HR actions taken are complied with HR Acts and laws.
- Oversee office administrative functions
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Human Resources Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in human resource management, with a particular focus on strategic thinking. You will have a proven track record in developing and implementing people strategies, managing talent acquisition, and fostering positive employer-employee relationships. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to engage proactively with other departments, ensuring the effectiveness of your work. Your ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin will be crucial in liaising with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- At least 8 years of working experience in the related field; prior experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
- Hands-on approach with good strategic thinking mindset
- Good knowledge in Employment Acts and other relevant statutory regulations; knowledge and exposure in Singapore HR are an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to proactively engage with other function departments to ensure effectiveness of work
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (liaise with China stakeholders)
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel between Bangi and Batangkali
