An industry leader in Halal skincare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of HR to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur.
The Head of HR is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources within an organisation. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, while also ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. As the primary advocate for employee welfare and organisational culture, the Head of HR plays a crucial role in fostering a productive and supportive work environment.

What you'll do:
Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organisation's overall objectives and promote its long-term success. Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities and opportunities for improvement.
Talent Acquisition and Retention: Oversee the recruitment and on boarding process to ensure the timely and effective hiring of qualified candidates. Develop and implement strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment plans. Implement employee retention strategies, including career development initiatives, training programs, and employee recognition programs.
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and drive continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to employees and managers on HR-related matters. Handle employee relations issues, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and respects the rights of all employees.
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary planning, incentive programs, and employee benefits packages. Conduct bench marking and market research to ensure the organisation's compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.
What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Head of HR role will require:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
Thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive organisational success
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HR goals into actionable plans
