What you'll do:
As an Assistant Manager Reward and Analysis based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be entrusted with driving the evolution of total rewards strategies that underpin the organisation’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and high performance. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with HR colleagues and business leaders to design competitive compensation structures; monitoring market trends; coordinating performance management cycles; facilitating calibration sessions; generating insightful analytics; leading critical projects such as incentive redesigns or pay equity reviews; ensuring compliance with regulatory standards; optimising HR systems; and supporting managers in recognising employee achievements. Success in this role will require you to balance analytical expertise with strong interpersonal skills—enabling you to communicate complex information clearly while building trusted relationships across departments. * Develop, implement, and continuously enhance total rewards programmes including compensation structures, benefits packages, incentives, and recognition initiatives to ensure competitiveness in the market.

* Work collaboratively with Group HR and business leaders to align reward strategies with company goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
* Coordinate the end-to-end performance management cycle by linking individual outcomes with reward decisions to promote fairness across the organisation.
* Facilitate calibration processes to ensure consistency in performance assessments and reward allocations among different teams.
* Support managers in recognising outstanding contributions by enhancing recognition programmes that motivate employees at all levels.
* Generate detailed reports, dashboards, and analytics on total rewards, workforce trends, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
* Lead key projects such as incentive redesigns, pay equity analyses, benefits reviews, and policy enhancements related to rewards and career progression.
* Ensure all reward programmes comply with legal requirements by maintaining accurate documentation for audit readiness and governance reviews.
* Support the optimisation of HR systems to improve policy application, reporting accuracy, data integrity, and overall process efficiency.
What you bring:
To excel as an Assistant Manager Reward and Analysis you will bring substantial experience from roles focused on compensation & benefits or total rewards analysis—ideally gained within both corporate environments and consulting settings. Your academic background should include qualifications in human resources or related disciplines such as business administration or economics. You will possess advanced analytical capabilities allowing you to interpret complex data sets into meaningful recommendations that shape organisational reward strategies. Your approach will be marked by integrity when dealing with confidential matters alongside excellent communication skills that enable you to build rapport across all levels of the business. * Demonstrated ability to analyse large datasets using advanced data analysis skills to derive actionable insights for reward strategy improvements.
* Comprehensive understanding of compensation practices including regulatory compliance requirements as well as current market trends affecting remuneration packages.
* Excellent communication abilities enabling you to explain complex compensation-related matters clearly to HR teams, management groups, and employees alike.
* Proven track record of handling sensitive information with integrity while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
* Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration across multiple departments within a diverse workforce setting.
* Experience managing projects related to incentive redesigns or pay equity analysis is highly desirable for this role.
