What you'll do:

  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll operations by collaborating closely with Finance teams and external service providers to ensure seamless processing each month.
  • Manage time and attendance systems, validating data inputs to guarantee precise payroll calculations while identifying areas for workflow optimisation.
  • Continuously review payroll procedures and time tracking processes, recommending improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy across the board.
  • Analyse reports related to payroll, benefits utilisation, headcount, and compensation costs to support informed decision-making within the HR function.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives by providing detailed insights into total rewards expenditure.
  • Administer employee benefits programmes including medical, travel, SOCSO, insurance claims, and expatriate support services to ensure comprehensive coverage for all staff.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, offering guidance and resolution support with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure all payroll, benefits, and expatriate operations comply with local labour laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies at all times.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for all compensation activities while supporting both internal and external audits through diligent record-keeping.
  • Lead or contribute to process improvement projects such as system upgrades or automation initiatives in partnership with global and local HR teams.

What you bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field provides the foundational knowledge required for this position.
  • At least three years of experience in human resources with a particular focus on benefits administration, time management systems, or employee support functions is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for managing employee inquiries effectively while fostering positive relationships across departments.
  • Strong organisational abilities enable you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality or accuracy.
  • A keen eye for detail ensures that payroll inputs are validated correctly and that all documentation remains audit-ready at all times.
  • Proficiency in analysing data allows you to identify trends or areas for improvement within compensation processes or policy frameworks.
  • A solid understanding of SOCSO regulations along with other local statutory requirements is critical for ensuring ongoing compliance within the HR function.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within diverse teams supports successful project delivery.
  • A solution-oriented mindset helps you proactively address challenges while contributing positively towards process enhancement initiatives.
